Singsnap Songbook - Old Songs Brought Back

Singsnap is now allowing members to upload their own purchased or manually created karaoke backing tracks that will be available to all members. Apparently there is a loophole in Canadian copyright laws allowing this. There are dozens of songs already uploaded that have been taken off Singsnap or have never been there: Adele, Coldplay, Bon Jovi, Eagles, James Taylor and many more. The problem with doing this yourself is that you have to sync the lyrics with the music manually. I have not tried it yet but I have quite a few purchased tracks that I may try when I get time.

But for the moment I have added several song tracks to my favorites list. I haven't listened to any of them yet so can't comment on the quality. I did check to see if you can change the pitch on the member-added songs and that option is there. I guess the SingSnap mixer does that for you.
